CBIO workshop: Optimizing utilization of industrial organic waste streams

CBIO – Centre for Circular Bioeconomy – invites everyone with an interest in industrial organic waste streams to participate in this workshop that will explore how organic waste can be optimally utilized from a circular bioeconomic perspective.

The aim of the workshop is to gain a deeper understanding of the types of organic waste streams in Denmark, both in terms of quantity and quality, as well as how they are utilized today.

We will examine the sustainability of current utilization methods and identify the barriers that may hinder the optimal use of these waste streams. These barriers may be regulatory, economic, environmental, or safety-related, and in this context, we will also investigate how the current regulatory framework supports or limits the safe utilization of organic waste — both in terms of human and environmental health.

It will be a great opportunity for representatives from industry to present their company and their side streams.
