Research areas include the carbon footprint and environmental impacts of food using life cycle assessment (LCA), critically assessing LCA methods to include e.g. biodiversity and soil carbon sequestration in LCA, as well as green transition and mitigation options in agricultural and food production systems.
Has been a member of the Danish Council on Climate Change since March 2019.
Course responsible for the course 'Agriculture in a global context'
Have contributed to numerous policy support tasks in relation to climate and environmental impacts of agriculture and food systems as well as carbon footprint and carbon labelling of food.
